Urethane Springs for the EZ-Puller & EZ-Puller Expanded Capacity

The EZ-Puller uses urethane springs to generate the gripping force that advances bar stock through the pull cycle. The compressed springs push against steel lifters, providing the pressure required to pull the metal bar forward.

As a dedicated urethane springs manufacturer, we offer multiple durometer options to match different materials and pull conditions:

• 70A Light Duty. Thin-wall tubing, soft alloys, plastics, and delicate workpieces.

The 70A urethane spring applies lighter contact pressure against the bar surface, which can reduce gripper marking on materials where surface condition matters. As a result, it holds enough gripping force to complete the pull reliably while keeping deformation risk low on fragile or thin-wall stock.

Both the EZ-Puller (EP-12044) and the EZ-Puller Expanded Capacity (EP-12045) accept the same urethane springs, so one order can accommodate either tool.
